Emergency Regulations
    House Numbers
Please be sure your house number is visible from the street. We are requesting that they be 3 inches or larger. This will help to expedite the ambulance or any other emergency vehicles.
    Sidewalks
The Village of Sauk City has an ordinance which requires ALL sidewalks be cleared of snow or ice within 12 hours. If walks are not cleared within the specified period, the Village is authorized to and WILL clear all uncleared sidewalks. The cost of this work will be charged against the property and, if not paid, will be assessed to the following years property tax bill.
    Parking
The Village of Sauk City's snow ordinance requires that ALL vehicles be OFF the streets immediately following or during a snowfall of 2 inches or greater to allow for snow plowing. This parking restriction remains in effect for 48 hours after the snow has stopped OR until the streets are cleared. Snow parking tickets are a fee of $20.00.
