Our Sauk City Utilities Department strives to create and maintain an environment that ensures safe, reliable and efficient utility service at fair and reasonable rates. They maintain approximately 57 miles of overhead and underground electric line throughout the Village, 20 miles of water main and 25 miles of sewer line.


Disconnection information:

If your utilities have been disconnected due to non-payment, there is a reconnection fee as follows.

Water Reconnection:
  • Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. - $40.00
  • Between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - $60.00
  • After 4:30 p.m. or on a weekend, you will have to wait until the next business day.       

 Electric Reconnection:

  • Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. - $40.00
  • Between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - $80.00
  • After 4:30 p.m. or on a weekend, you will have to wait until the next business day.

Have you received a letter about your water lateral line? Please call the Village and let us know what material your lateral line is.
