Our Area Parks
Meyer Oak Grove Park is located at 780 Phillips Boulevard. The prairie flower garden surrounds the gazebo built from the 250 year old oak trees that were destroyed in the May 1998 storm. This park is also home to our Riverway Concerts in the Park ("June Tunes"), as well as other community events.

Jaycee Athletic Park and Chuck Hall Memorial Field are at 305 Hemlock Street. Chuck Hall Memorial Field is one of the best athletic parks in the state of Wisconsin and has been maintained by local volunteers. It is beautiful inside and out, and has a new exterior fence, sprinkler system, foul line fencing, bleacher boards under the shelter, concession stand and indoor batting cages. The Sauk Prairie High School baseball, Babe Ruth teams, and the Sauk Prairie Twins are proud to call this wonderful park their home. The NBC holds their tournaments here, which brings in many teams and their families to the Sauk Prairie area. Jaycee Athletic Park is located adjacent to Chuck Hall Memorial Field and has tennis courts, volleyball courts, a basketball court, and various playground equipment such as swings, slides and a merry-go-round.
Junge Park is located at 1535 Hemlock Street. Junge Park is a wonderful park for family fun. It has a large, roomy shelter for picnics, a volleyball court for "team" play and an enjoyable playground for kids of all ages. It is a favorite for family reunions. 
Sauk City Riverfront Park and Splash Pad can be found at 236 Water Street. This park, formerly known as August Derleth Park, underwent many improvements in 2019, including several new irrigated and expanded soccer fields, a new 4,000 square foot multi-age ADA-accessible playground with 75-foot zip line, a new 2,250 square foot splash pad, a concession building with restrooms, and 100 additional parking stalls. The park's riverfront trail also connects to the Great Sauk State Trail at the top of the hill along Water Street. There also is a new kayak/canoe loading area with an ADA-accessible path leading to the river. Click here for a link to the park's Master Plan. "Bill" Fuchs Park is at 403 John Q Adams Street. Enjoy this quaint neighborhood park located at the corner of Dallas and John Q Adams Street. Fuchs Park was dedicated on June 23, 2007. The Park land was donated by the Bill Fuchs family for family enjoyment for many generations to come. 2012 brought a brand new shelter with bathrooms. We are excited to have this new addition!
Riverwalk is a scenic walkway along the beautiful Wisconsin River. Sauk Prairie River PAL is a local friends group who focus on improving and maintaining areas along the Wisconsin River's bank. The Adopt-a-River Bank program is one of the SP River PAL core programs. The largest amount of effort currently goes into the Riverwalk. Our beautiful riverwalk consists of 1.8 miles of trail.
