Compost

Compost will be picked up on Mondays. 

Compost consists of yard clippings and garden waste. All compost should be bagged in PAPER BAGS and placed at the edge of the curb, in the tree bank, by 7:00 A.M. and shall not weigh more than 40 pounds.

Residents who wish to haul their own compost, may do so Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 3:00 pm. This is to be used by Sauk City residents only.

The site is located just east of the intersection of River Rd/Phillips St and Sycamore Street.  Compost Site Directions

 

 **Remember when raking your leaves, always rake to the edge of the tree bank. Leaves should never be raked into the gutter. Also, grass should never be mowed so that it goes into the street or gutter. This can clog up the storm sewers.**
